The Bolivar City Fire Department is made up of full-time firefighters, part-time firefighters, reserve firefighters, chaplains and support staff. We offer 24-hour coverage for the city of Bolivar, and we work alongside other local departments to provide mutual aid to surrounding areas when needed.
We provide complete firefighting capabilities, vehicle extrication and rescue capabilities, medical response with 15 NREMT’s and four emergency medical responders, and HAZMAT response.
We love to engage with the community. We host a cadet program for youth ages 14 to 18. You'll also see us at numerous community events, and we're proud to provide tours of our facilities.

Our administrative offices at the City of Bolivar Public Safety Center are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
