Each year during the holidays, the Bolivar Police Department joins with Bolivar's Walmart and the Polk County Area Shop with a Cop 501c3 to sponsor Shop with a Cop. Thankfully, local businesses and individuals from our community faithfully contribute to support this wonderful program.
The program allows teachers and counselors from every school district in Polk County to choose children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade to have the option of being apart of Shop with a Cop. These children, who otherwise might not have a Christmas, go on a special shopping trip with local first responders to purchase presents for themselves and/or family members.
The Bolivar Police Department is proud and honored to be a part of the Polk County Area Shop with a Cop program!
