Dunnegan Memorial Park is the crown-jewel of Bolivar's parks system. The 45-acre plot officially became a city park over 100 years ago in 1923 thanks to a generous donation from Bolivar's T.H.B. Dunnegan. The park features a wet-weather stream and a small lake with ample wildlife like swans, geese, and ducks. Visitors can walk around the park on a mile-long chat trail that winds through the park's many trees. Dunnegan Memorial Park has multiple playgrounds with slides, swings, and other equipment for children. There are also several large pavilions placed throughout the park available for rent.
Rental options: Four separate pavilions.
